Pearl and Wedding Jewellery Measurement Guide

Here is some information to assist you with ensuring you order the right length necklace or bracelet to fit and work with your outfit or wedding dress.  All of our wedding and bridal jewellery does have the length next to each product description, but if you are unsure as to whether it will be a good fit, then please either follow the below guide or measure as follows.  Measuring up for flowergirls can be tricky, but you could take a short length of ribbon, and use this to measure around their wrist to gain a more accurate length.  You can then use a ruler to measure the length of ribbon.  Please ensure that you tell us whether the length is the actual wrist size or the finished length.  Most of our pearl wedding jewellery items do come with a short extension chain, which does allow some flexibility with the fit.

 The standard measurement size for our necklaces is 16" or 41cm with a short extension chain of approx 1.5" or 4cm length.

The standard measurement size for our bracelets is 7.5" or 17cm with a short extension chain of 1" or 3cm in length.

You can choose the size of your necklace and bracelet and this simple guide will help you to determine the length of your jewellery.

• Choose an existing necklace or bracelet, measure from end to end excluding the clasp or
• Use our approximate dress size guide:

Dress size 8-10 –   Necklace size 15-16" – Choker size is 13-14" – Bracelet size 6-6.5"
Dress size 12-14 – Necklace size 16-17" – Choker size 14-15" –  Bracelet size 6.5-7"
Dress size 16-18 – Necklace size 17-18" – Choker size 15.5-16" – Bracelet size 7-7.5"
Dress size 18+ -     Necklace size 19" + - Bracelet size 7.5"+

Below is a choker length necklace DEN25n, which is made in a standard length, it will fit as a choker necklace, or using the extension chain will extend to 16" length, to fall just below the neck.
