We would like to make the ordering process as simple as possible. Should you require a customized item (e.g.colour matching service) we recommend corresponding directly with us to ensure we meet your requirements. You can customize your order on-line by specifying the sizing requirements of your jewellery and a few basic colours for some of our items. We are open Monday to Friday to answer any questions you may have about our jewellery. Please leave a message if we are unable to answer your call directly and we will return your call. Current customized/made to order itemsFor items that are in stock, delivery is usually within 2 to 3 working days. If your order is urgent, please contact us to check availability of the item you require. Made to Measure jewellery currently require at least 7days notice. Please contact us to check on times if your order is urgent. Alternatively, please ring one of our stockists to see if they have the items you require. How to order from the collectionSelect the options for the piece you require and click on 'Buy Now'. Where there is a box to enter your chosen colour(s) please enter the colour(s) as stated. Select your choice of clasp (silver/gold/rhodium plated), and the length. If there is no choice available for colour/length of item, please state this in the comments box at the END of the checkout stage. PaymentThere are several options for payment. Either click on the 'Buy Now' button to add the item to your shopping cart. You can then either carry on shopping or make your payment. To make a payment, you have two options: pay by PayPal or by cheque. We use the security of PayPal to take credit and debit card payments. For customer's who prefer to make payment by cheque or cash (sent at the customer's own risk), the item will be sent as soon as the payment has cleared (normally 5-7 working days). We can also take credit card payments over the telephone. Please call us with your details, or place your order on-line, select the pay by cheque option, and we will be in contact with you for your card details. We do not have the facility to process AMEX card payments. Packaging, Gift wrap and DeliveryPackaging — We take great care in packaging your item, to ensure your jewellery is not damaged during transit. We supply a lovely organza/silk pouch or box for all of our Freshwater Pearls, Faux Pearls and Semi-precious stone jewellery. Gift Wrap — Items can be gift wrapped in luxury paper, and a message card attached for an additional £3.50. If you require this service, please include your message (no more than 10 words please) for the card in the box below and click on the "Buy Now' button, to add gift wrap to your shopping cart. Please note that the gift wrap is non refundable. Handmade ProcessAll of our freshwater pearl and semi-precious stone jewellery is handmade. Many components used are also handmade or handcut, without the use of machinery. Therefore small imperfections should be expected. Each Cultured Freshwater pearl is unique and it is to be expected that slight variations in colour, quality, size and shape will occur. Semi-precious stones are also unique, and it is expected that slight variations in colour, quality, size and shape will occur. Indeed, these all add to the uniqueness and charm of each individual piece. DeliveryPostage — We aim to dispatch your order within 1 - 4 working days of confirmation. UK orders are normally delivered within 2 - 6 working days and international orders within 10 to 14 working days depending on customs. Please note that during busy periods, delivery may take slightly longer, so please allow for this, or e-mail us before ordering to confirm the delivery date if your order is urgent. If your order is urgent please let us know as we may be able to prioritise your order. Do e-mail us to check delivery times before you place your order if it is urgent. All packages are sent either first class recorded delivery, second class recorded delivery or registered post (special delivery) and will require a signature on delivery. If you are unable to sign for your package it will be held at your local sorting office. Postage and Delivery DetailsItems valued below £30 are sent recorded delivery and all items above £50 we recommend are sent by special delivery. We do not take responsibility for items that are not delivered or delivered late and request that you contact Royal Mail directly. Shipping CostsPostage costs are calculated per order - irrespective of order size.
UK orders are sent by Royal Mail recorded delivery charged at £4.50 1st Class, or £2.50 2nd class, or Special Delivery/Next Day Service charged at £6.50. Irish orders are sent by Royal Mail International Signed For and are charged at £6.00.
Returns PolicyWe want you to be happy and love your pearls, which is why we operate an 'if you don't love your pearls, send them back' policy. This means you can return items for a full refund. We understand how difficult it can be to buy from the internet, and your satisfaction is very important to us. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it to us within 14 days of receiving your order for a full refund or exchange. PLEASE NOTE THAT PIERCED EARRINGS ARE NON-RETURNABLE (UNLESS THEY ARE IN THE SEALED POUCH PROVIDED). ITEMS THAT HAVE BEEN MODIFIED (SHORTENED/LENGTHENED ETC) TO THE CUSTOMER’S OWN SPECIFICATIONS MAY BE EXCHANGED FOR ANOTHER ITEM. ALL ITEMS THAT ARE MADE TO ORDER OR MADE TO MEASURE ARE NON-RETURNABLE HOWEVER WE MAY EXCHANGE THESE ITEMS AT OUR DISCRECTION. IF YOU ARE UNSURE OF THE SUITABILITY OF AN ITEM OR SET OF JEWELLERY WHICH CONTAINS EARRINGS THEN PLEASE ASK US TO PUT THE ITEMS IN A SEALED PLASTIC POUCH FOR YOU, AND WE WILL ACCEPT RETURNS ON THESE ITEMS PROVIDING THEY ARE IN THE ORIGINAL SEALED POUCH. We must be notified within 7 days of receipt that you are returning items for a refund, and returns must be sent unworn, in the same perfect condition that they were sent in with all relevant packaging and tags still attached. Returns which are post marked outside of the 14 days returns period may be accepted for exchange or refund at the discretion of Girls Love Pearls. Girls Love Pearls will not accept returns for any items that have been worn or show any signs of wear and tear. We strongly advise all customers to check their purchase thoroughly upon delivery before removing any attached tags. Our decision is final as to whether or not products are deemed unworn and have been returned in perfect condition.
